  • DOES THE HOTEL OFFER ALL INCLUSIVE?

    We do not work with all inclusive. All of our daily rates include breakfast. We also work with half board (breakfast and dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) meals.

  • WHAT DOCUMENTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT CHECK-IN?

    • Guests over 18 years old

  • WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

    Check-in starts from 3pm and check-out until 12pm. There is no problem checking in after 3pm, even in the early hours of the morning, as our reception is open 24 hours a day. To extend the check-out period or bring forward check-in, contact reception by phone, sometimes this may change the price of your stay. If you need to leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out, we have a left-luggage office available free of charge.

  • HOW DOES THE FREE CHILD SYSTEM WORK?

    Reservations made directly with our reservation center or with our agents and travel agencies entitle up to two children under 12 years of age free of charge, as long as they are accompanied by two paying adults in the same apartment.

  • WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR HOSTING A CHILD OR UNDERAGE ADOLESCENT?

    Guests under 18 years of age - accompanied by their parents when the child or adolescent is traveling accompanied by their parents, it will be necessary to present an official registration document proving the minor's affiliation.

  • WHAT ARE THE LEISURE OPTIONS AND OPENING HOURS?

    You can use the hotel's swimming pools from 9am to 6pm. The games room and kids club are open from 9am to 10pm. We have a movie session every day; 6pm for children. Every week we offer shows with live music. We also have entertainment for children and adults starting at 9am. Check out our schedule!

  • DOES THE HOTEL HAVE WI-FI? IS IT FREE?

    Yes, we offer Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel, both in common areas and in apartments.

  • IS PARKING FREE?

    Yes, we offer free, private parking for our guests available on site (no reservation required).

  • ARE PETS ALLOWED?

    We love and respect animals, but at the moment we do not accept pets.

  • WHAT IS THE VOLTAGE OF THE SOCKETS, 110V OR 220V?

    Our sockets are Brazilian standard with three pins and here the voltage is 220v, we offer hair dryers in all apartments and irons when requested at reception.

  • WHAT SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE DAILY RATE?

    All inclusive; drinks; massage service; party kit; romantic packages; meals in the exclusive gazebo; laundry; transfers and tours.

  • HOW DO I HIRE A TRANSFER SERVICE?

    We always recommend luck receptive.

  • WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS?

    Our reservations can be paid by credit card (visa, master, amex, diners and elo) and the installment depends on the value of the reservation, we pay in up to 12 interest-free installments with a minimum installment of R$ 200.00. We also accept payment via bank deposit or pix. Please contact the reservation center via email contato@solarportodegalinhas.com.br or by phone 55 81 3552-0001. We do not accept payment by bank deposit for last minute reservations.

  • HOW DO I REQUEST A CRIB IN THE APARTMENT?

    Yes, we provide cribs for our guests who need them. To request one, simply speak to one of our staff at the hotel reception when checking in or when making your reservation. We also have a baby pantry that has the utensils and appliances needed to prepare your baby's meal.

  • CAN I SMOKE IN THE HOTEL?

    Our hotel is non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in open outdoor areas, not covered and away from other guests.

  • HOW DO THEMED PARTY KITS RESERVATIONS WORK?

    We offer a treat for our birthday guests, as long as you are informed in advance (minimum of 24 hours) at the time of booking or at the reception. We also have a party kit service with themes, sweet and savory. It is possible to request a quote through our reservation center. We ask that you send us an email to reservas@solarportodegalinhas.com.br informing us of your stay with us on this day so we can celebrate together!

  • I HAD A PROBLEM WITH HOSTING, HOW CAN I SOLVE IT?

  • DOES THE HOTEL HAVE PROMOTIONS OR GIVEAWAYS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

    No, we do not run raffles or promotions on our social networks or on the social networks of other people and companies.

  • DOES THE HOTEL CONTACT ME ASKING FOR CREDIT CARD DETAILS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA?

    No, we do not process reservations or request payments through social media. Our reservation center only works through the following channels:

    Yes, reservations made through our website's booking engine are secure.

  • HOW DO I KNOW IF MY AGENCY RESERVATION IS REALLY CONFIRMED?

  • ARE THERE RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF THE POOLS AND WHAT ARE THEY?

    The use of the pools is only permitted in swimwear (bikini, trunks, shorts or Bermuda shorts);

  • DO THE APARTMENTS HAVE AN IRON FOR GUESTS?

    Yes, we provide them upon request. An iron and ironing board can be requested at the hotel reception and will be delivered to the apartment at no additional cost.

  • CAN PAYMENT BE MADE IN PERSON AT CHECK-IN?

    Yes, guests can make their payment directly at reception. However, 50% of the total daily rate must be paid in advance. We accept credit cards, debit cards and bank deposits. We accept credit card payments only from guests who present the physical card at the hotel reception. We do not accept payments with virtual cards.

  • IS IT ALLOWED TO BRING FOOD AND DRINKS INTO THE HOTEL?

    Yes, consumption is only permitted inside the apartment.

  • DOES THE HOTEL OFFER ANY BEACH ITEMS FOR ITS GUESTS?

    We provide 1 beach/pool towel for each guest per day.

  • HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL FOR THOSE ARRIVING INTO THE CITY BY PLANE?

    Arrive at Solar Hotel with greater comfort and safety. Leaving from Recife-PE International Airport, we always recommend Luck Receptivo.

  • HOW FAR IS THE HOTEL FROM THE BEACH?

    We are located on the seafront of Cupe Beach. 2.5 km away are the famous natural pools of the village of Porto de Galinhas, where you can take a beautiful raft ride, dive with little fish and take a peaceful bath in warm waters. Also a few kilometers away are the beaches of Muro Alto and Maracaípe. There are beaches for all tastes.

  • HOW FAR IS THE HOTEL FROM THE NEAREST AIRPORT(S)?

    The Porto de Galinhas Solar Hotel is located on the seafront of the charming Praia do Cupe, 50 km from Recife-Pe international airport.

  • WHAT ARE THE OPENING HOURS FOR THE HOTEL'S LEISURE AREAS?

    You can use the hotel's swimming pools from 9am to 6pm. Every day we offer live music in the evening; the games room and kids club are open from 9am to 10pm. We also have entertainment for children and adults from 9am. Check out our schedule!

  • WHAT ARE THE HOTEL RESTAURANT HOURS?

    Coffee is served every day from 7am to 10am, lunch from 12pm to 3pm and dinner from 7pm to 10pm. Our restaurant operates with an all-you-can-eat buffet or à la carte. But don't worry, if our restaurant is closed you can take advantage of our 24-hour room service with snacks and various other delicacies!

  • DO THE RESTAURANT MENUS INCLUDE FOODS FOR RESTRICTIVE DIETS?

    We prepare meals for those with intolerance and allergies to some type of food in our hotel kitchen, yes, with all hygiene and food safety precautions. Our preparations for restrictive diets are not 100% free, so they may contain traces of gluten, lactose, eggs or soy.

  • WHAT ARE THE BEVERAGE OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?

    We have an extensive list of wines, champagne, drinks and beers, as well as non-alcoholic options such as natural juices and cocktails. Our 24-hour room service can take any drink available in our bar to the comfort of your suite. In your room's minibar you will find some drink options: water, soda, beer, snacks and some appetizers. Drinks are all paid for separately.

    Light clothing and swimwear are recommended.

  • WHAT IS THE WEATHER AND TEMPERATURE LIKE IN THE CITY?

    The average temperature in the region is 25 °C, meaning you probably won't get cold.

  • TO CHANGE THE CHECK-IN OR CHECK-OUT TIME OR DATE?

    Check-in and check-out times are fixed, check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is until 12:00 p.m. on the scheduled departure day. Check-in before the scheduled time is only possible upon availability on the same day of booking.

  • DOES THE HOTEL HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY IN THE ROOMS AND COMMON AREAS?

    Yes, we have wheelchairs, elevators, swimming pools with ramps and connecting apartments. In addition, we also offer amphibious chairs for guests who want to swim in the sea (with prior appointment), accompanied by lifeguards or the fire department.

  • WHAT TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?

    Our hotel has taxis available, you can also use Uber or public transport (local). In addition, we can recommend car rental companies at reception.
